Résumé

Ali Aliyev

Senior Fullstack

Baku, Azerbaijan

I’m Ali, an engineer based in Baku. I’ve built for the web since 2018, part-time at first and full-time since 2020, mostly with React, Next.js, and TypeScript. My work spans frontend architecture, performance, testing, and the tooling that helps teams ship.

Experience

May 2025 — Present

Develop and maintain web interfaces with React and TypeScript. Contribute to frontend architecture and maintainability, support engineering quality through testing and code review, and document technical decisions and mentor teammates.

Jul 2024 — Oct 2025

Built the AI search frontend in 48 hours with pooled WebSockets and TanStack Query, averaging about 200 ms across 50 concurrent requests with zero timeouts. Migrated the legacy frontend to Feature-Sliced Design in three months, built the company design system the whole frontend team adopted, and replaced polling with WebSocket streams for live updates.

Replaced hours-long manual deployments with push-to-deploy pipelines of about 40 minutes using TeamCity, Portainer, and Docker, and moved the team to trunk-based development.
